Cloaked Characters was established in 2000 by Joseph Tavares ÛÛ°
(a.k.a. Chlorine/Jay Tablet) and Rory Restani (a.k.a. Rory ÛÛ
Oneders). Their music has been described as poetic hip-hop ÛÛ
with deep, philosophical lyrics and is backed by producer ÛÛ
Mr. E’s unique and energetic beats. With influences to ÛÛ
include Beastie Boys, Tupac, Swollen Members, Sublime, Black ÛÛ
Sabbath, MAC DRE, Mountain Brothers, Freestyle Fellowship, ÛÛ
DEL the Funky Homosapien, Hieroglyphics, N.W.A. and Pink ÛÛ
Floyd, Cloaked Characters has quickly made a name for ÛÛ
themselves in Oregon & Northern California, and is ÛÛ
recognized by The Source Weekly as being a regular part of ÛÛ
the Bend local hip-hop scene. More live performances are on ÛÛ
